In 2023, the Real Estate Community twice hosted a sold-out live Real Estate Café (over 130 people) at a café in Vleuten about investing in Spanish real estate.
There was a tremendously positive response during and after the Café, which is why it was followed up with an online event as well, accessible to anyone from home.
The topics discussed in both editions of the Real Estate Café and the online event included:
1. How to select the right offer in Spain with an average return of 4-7%: Where do you start, how do you know from all the offerings in Spain what is the safest possible investment of good quality, is it in the right location, are you dealing with a good developer, is the after sales well taken care of, what is the finishing quality and above all what is the potential in ROI (looking at value increase and cash flow from rental income)
2. How to outsource an entire process with a high quality of after-sales while sharply identifying the risks and having the availability of a large database of knowledge about investing in real estate in Spain and its financing.
3. How to find properties below assessed value: Target properties that have been purchased by individuals who have not gotten their mortgages completed. Property developers have often been in a bit of a hurry to sell because they have already moved on to selling a new property, for example. Properties that are often already furnished and where you can already generate immediate cash flow from them are the first to be put out to YD.
